About Veronika Bühn:
Veronika, who is 35, started riding when she was 7 years old. She gathered a varied experience, riding horses of different breeds in dressage, jumping and Western Riding. The principals of natural horsemansihp have influenced her work with horses for a long time. On her consistent quest to improve her knowledge of horses and riding, she met Philippe Karl in 2005 and was deeply impressed by his work. Since 2007 she has been participating as an active rider in the "teacher's class" of the "École de Légèreté". Veronika and her husband run a stable in Germany educating and schooling horses and riders in the Munich area. Her website can be viewed on www.prohorse.org. She has now been teaching regularly in RSA for the last two years and is supported by Mon. Karl in her work.
ATTENTION RIDERS:
There will be 8 places per clinic as usual. I would like to get an indication as to how many places we will be able to fill prior to accepting your deposit as I suspect that there may be more riders than spaces available. As a first step, please indicate whether you would like to attend as a rider and how many horses you would like to bring.
Once I have established how many riders there would be, I'll confirm whether or not sufficient places are available. Please let me know by the end of the week if you want to attend as a rider.
Please remember that with all clinics - bookings go first to riders from the last clinic, then listeners of the last clinic and then to the general mailing list.
About the Clinics:
Clinics are usually for 8 riders and are run over three days with theory lessons in the evenings. There are unlimited listener places.
For the first time in 2012 there will be three visits over the year to both Gauteng and Western Cape and clinics will run back to back - making a total of 4 clinics each visit - one in Gauteng and three in the Western Cape. This allows us to divide the air fare between all riders across two Provinces and therefore reduce costs and keep fees more consistent.
Riders are permitted to film their own lessons. Please bring your own camera, tapes and all you need. Video taping of other students' lessons is not permitted and listeners are also not able to use video or stills cameras unless they are filming on behalf of a particular rider. Thank you for respecting these requests.
Please note that everyone attending should attend all days and all theory lectures.
There will only be theory lessons on the first and second nights of the actual clinics and not the night before as in the past.
If you are interested in attending, please Email Claudia at CLAUDIA@HAHN.CO.ZA
